ECIC is an annual partner at the KZN Exporters Week, which is co-located with the African Ports and Rail Conference. The conference takes place from the 14 – 18 October 2019 at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre, KwaZulu-Natal.
KZN Export Week is an annual programme of Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN) developed to recognise, promote and assist with growing KwaZulu-Natal’s export businesses and industries.
ECIC together with Afreximbank and Trade and Industry KwaZulu-Natal (TKZIN), delivered presentations in a master class session targeting seasoned and large manufacturing exporters from KZN. During the week ECIC Acting Head of Business Development, Paul Mojalefa delivered various presentations on ECIC Insurance products and offerings to exporters as well as participate in a panel discussion under the topic “Export credit insurance: Risk mitigation solutions for South African exporters and contractors”.
ECIC Economist Sibusiso Ngobese will also spoke at the African Ports and Rail Evolution event under the topic: “Forecasts for Africa’s transport infrastructure: state of the market and future outlook”.
The ECIC exhibition stand aimed to further activate the brand and engage with stakeholders and potential clients. Through a comprehensive programme of activities, the event provided professional development and information on growth sectors and market opportunities to KwaZulu-Natal’s new and existing exporters and internationally focused businesses.
