ECIC participated in the Africa Rail event from the 19 – 20 October 2020 with the aim of promoting the brand through key markets in Africa and globally, creating a platform to pursue possible deals through networking and organised virtual meetings.
Over the last 23 years, the Africa Rail conference has continued to be the largest of its kind in Africa, hosting the largest gathering of rail operators, government entities and contractors.
With thought-provoking keynotes, country spotlights and an assortment of roundtable discussions, there’s no doubt that this event allowed the Corporation to gain further insights in an industry that has the potential to position ECIC as a thought leader on projects like the Nacala Rail Corridor. ECIC Senior Economist Jeffrey Mashiane participated in a panel discussion under the topic “Developing a bankable project”
