ECIC’s contribution to Sea View Senior Secondary School and the provision of ICT infrastructure assisted learners in their growth and development with regard to the Computer Lab Handover – in Mqanduli, Mthatha.
ECIC assisted the school with a borehole, X2 mobile Parkhome classrooms to alleviate overcrowding experienced by the school and a computer lab with 25 HP notebooks, accessories and internet data bundles. ECIC CSI Officer, Manana Bosilong delivered the keynote address to the learners, principle and members of the Department of Education.
The support from ECIC to Sea View Senior Secondary School was to ensure that we make a difference to the Mqanduli community and positively contribute to the development of learners to bring growth and sustainability to our economy.
ECIC also partnered with Axium Education in 2013, as part of their basic education initiatives. Funding from the ECIC helps Axium Education to provide mathematics, science and English after-school lessons to x200 Grade 8-12 learners from six schools in Mqanduli.
Our aim was to build a better future for the learners by bridging the digital divide within the Mqanduli community.
