ECIC @ Manufacturing Indaba 2023
ECIC participated in the annual Manufacturing Indaba from the 24 – 25 October 2023. The Manufacturing Indaba is the leading manufacturing event in Sub-Saharan Africa, for Africans, by Africans. The aim of the Indaba was to bring together business owners, industry leaders, government officials, capital providers and professional experts to explore opportunities and grow their manufacturing operations.
ECIC Head: Political, Economic, Analysis and Research, Sindiso Ndlovu, participated in a panel discussion on ‘Accelerating Financial Solutions for Sustainable Manufacturing’ at the Manufacturing Indaba 2023. The panel sponsored by Yellow Door Energy, was moderated by Saul Levin, Trade and Industrial Policy Strategies (TIPS) and includes Wilco de Villiers, Yellow Door Energy (United Arab Emirates), Sachin Chanderdhev, Absa, the IDC’s Mark Goliath and Greg Palmer, Sage.

ECIC Senior Deal Originator, Paul Mojalefa, delivered a presentation on ‘ECIC’s expanded mandate into short-term insurance’ at the Manufacturing Indaba’s Trade and Investment Hub.

ECIC Marketing Officer Odirile Ramasodi hosted an exhibition at the Indaba which brought together over 1500 manufacturing industry professionals and 2500 exhibition visitors. ECIC representatives engaged with both exhibition visitors and delegates at this premier event.
