ECIC PARTICIPATES IN THE KZN EXPORT WEEK & KZN EXPORTERS AWARDS

ECIC will be participating at the KZN Export Week and Summit during 27 – 30 October 2015.

The KZN Export Week and Summit, is hosted by the KwaZulu-Natal provincial government to create export opportunities and to boost the profile of exporters in the KZN region. These platforms were conceived as a way of contributing to the business community’s awareness of the crucial role that exporters play in KwaZulu-Natal’s and South Africa’s economy.

Through a comprehensive programme of activities, the KZN Export Week provides professional development and information on growth sectors and market opportunities to KwaZulu-Natal’s new and existing exporters as well as internationally focused businesses. ECIC’s Senior Economist, Tsidiso Disenyana, will be participating in the Summit Master Class Panel on the topic: ‘Benefits that an EXIM Bank may hold for SA’.

KZN Exporter of the Year Awards

The KZN Exporter of the Year Awards is an annual ceremony celebrating achievements in exports over the past year. As part of the KZN Export Week sponsorship, ECIC will participate in the KZN Exporter of the Year Awards which will be hosted at Sibaya Casino on 29 October 2015. The Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry through the annual KZN Exporter of the Year Awards, recognises excellence among KZN exporters.

As part of the on-going brand awareness initiative, ECIC will be participating in this event by expanding the objective of creating strategic partnerships with key role players in the export industry, responding to the National Development Plan of increasing South Africa’s export base.
